SLIDESHOW: 5th Annual McAuliffe 5K Attracts More Than 250 Participants

The charter school's 5K celebrated health and wellness; and funds raised will benefit the school's new campus project and fieldwork program.

More than 250 individuals participated in the 5th Annual McAuliffe 5K for Fieldwork on Saturday morning, May 10.

E. Crowley won the 5K in 17 minutes and 33 seconds.

The top female finished was Stephanie Hohenstein at 22:55.

The top three students were Ben Burgess, Talon Hayes and Nico Nunes.

Christa McAuliffe Regional Chapter Public School Executive Director Kristin Harrison also ran the race and finished in 27:53.

Participants were given the option of running or walking the 5K.
