Foxwoods Massachusetts is inviting people to the proposed site of the resort casino on Saturday, for a barbecue and site visit on Saturday, Nov. 2.

In a release, a spokesman said the event will allow people to see the property and get an explanation from the developers how the structure will fit into its environment.

"The event is an opportunity for Milford residents to see the property first-hand, learn details of the site design and gain a further understanding of how the planned structure fits within the natural environment," said Stephen Oakes, in a release. "Foxwoods executives, architects and engineers will be present to answer questions."

The event is from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Crystal Room on Cedar Street.
