Hopkinton Teen Performs Friday

Charlotte Sands is a 17 year old fun, young, and fresh new artist who is budding with creativity. She moved to Hopkinton in the seventh grade, and she previously lived in Egremont (the Berkshires).
Charlotte started writing music when she was 8, and in third grade, her music career began. She boldly walked up to an excellent guitar player who was in the high school, and asked him to be a part of her band for the elementary school talent show. Kindly, the young man agreed and found her a drummer as well. That was Charlotte's debut performance, and not much has changed since then.
Charlotte's band for her sold out CD release party on June 20, at Barn81, is made up of well-respected local musicians including, Phil Antoniades, Barbara Kessler, Carter Berking, Mark (Shecky Yurkovic), Jeff St. Pierre, Tim Day, Jimmy Wooster, and Katy Abendroth-Dunn.
