Friday, Dec. 6

3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Holiday Boutique, Hopkinton Center for the Arts. Regional crafters sell their handmade products; refreshments available. Through Dec. 8.  

6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Drop and Shop Date Night, LSDA Studio, 1 Claftin Common. $15 per child. 

7 p.m., Holliston Public Schools Faculty Benefit Music Recital, features past and present Holliston music teachers. To raise funds for the HHS Music Technology Lab Project Fund Drive. Tickets are $15 for adults and $7 for students and senior citizens. 

Saturday, Dec. 7

4 p.m., Hopkinton Holiday Stroll. Caroling starts at 4 p.m. followed by the tree lighting and visit with Santa. Toys for Tots and One Warm Coat donations will be accepted. Dress warmly and bring a flashlight. 

8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., HPTA Cookbook Sale, Colella's Supermarket, Hopkinton. Purchase this year's edition of "Hopkinton's Finest, A Community Cookbook" or purchase as a bundled package with the 1st (2005) Edition for  a discount. Cookbooks will be available for purchase at Colella's on Dec. 7 between 8:30 and 5:00 p.m.  

10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m., A Charlie Brown Christmas, Masonic Hall (6 Main Street, Hopkinton). Tickets at door, $5 general admission. 

10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Holiday Boutique, Hopkinton Center for the Arts. Regional crafters sell their handmade products; refreshments available. Through Dec. 8.  

3 p.m. to 4 p.m., Hopkinton Public Library 9th Annual Holiday Family program, featuring storyteller Diana Edgecomb who will read "Once Upon a Wintertime" and hold a sing-a-long. 

5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Annual Live Nativity, Community Covenant Church, 2 West Elm Street, Hopkinton. Free.  

4 p.m., Hopkinton Annual Tree Lighting. Hopkinton Girl Scouts and Hopkinton Parks and Recreation begin festivities with caroling and hot chocolate followed by the lighting of the holiday tree and a visit with Santa Claus. Click HERE for more information.

Sunday, Dec. 8

10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Holiday Boutique, Hopkinton Center for the Arts. Regional crafters sell their handmade products; refreshments available. Ends today. 

ON-GOING HOLIDAY EVENTS 

Now through Dec. 14, you can drop off your Toys for Tots at the Holliston or Hopkinton police stations (or in any other box around town).
