Holliston High School has been one of the best public high schools in eastern Massachusetts for more than two decades. Ranked 26th by boston.com in 2009's list of public high schools, HHS has a roughly 13-to-1 student-teacher ratio and spends $10,856 per student, according to boston.com. HHS students averaged 94 on the MCAS English, 93 on the MCAS Math and 88 on the MCAS Science, while averaging 541 on the SAT English, 551 on the SAT Writing and 581 on the SAT Math.
