Pleasure Point park can be accessed from Winthrop Street and is open year-round, but staffed only from early April through November. Renovated in 2006 under the Community Preservation Act, Pleasure Point features a playground, barbecue grills, picnic tables, a bathhouse and a boat launch for canoeing and kayaking. There is also a view of Valentine Rock and Lake Grove Cemetery is a short walk through the woods. Parking fees required in season (April through November 1).
