Robert H. Adams Middle School sits next to Sam Placentino Elementary School, down Winthrop Street from Fred W. Miller Elementary School. It houses grades six through eight and offers Spanish and French immersion programs. It has a cafeteria, a library, an infirmary and a gym with a basketball court. There is a baseball diamond with a batting cage and scoreboard as well as Flagg Field, a fenced Little League baseball diamond. There is also a small, fenced-in playground with swings, slides, a 3-D tic-tac-toe grid and a jungle gym. The principal is Peter Botelho and the assistant principal is John Hartunian.
