Town of Holliston: Conservation Commission

This seven-member volunteer board appointed by the Board of Selectmen administers the Wetlands Protection Act and the Rovers Protection Act, among other town and state bylaws. The Conservation Commission manages 1,019 acres of conservation land and seeks to protect Holliston's natural resources (public and private water and ground water supplies and quality, wildlife habitat, upland resource areas and floodplains) and limit activities that might damage them. Charles Katuska is the Conservation Agent and Sheri O'Brien is the Administrative Assistant. The Conservation Commission board members are: Chairman Geoffrey H. Zeamer, Vice Chairman Ann Marie Pilch, Christopher Bajdek, Fred Carnes, Richard Maccagnano, Peter Rosati and Allen Rutberg.
