Twenty-one years ago Kenneth Seguin committed a crime that "shocked the community."
In April of 1992, Holliston residents were shocked to learn that three residents had been murder according to Police Chief John Moore, but they can breathe a little easier knowing the convicted murderer was denied parole for a second time. Two people were home when the small fire occurred.
Two people were in their Wildlife Drive home Tuesday night when a lightning strike began a fire in their garage. Hopkinton Fire Chief Ken Clark said some trash in the garage and a small portion of the wall were on fire when the department arrived. There was also heavy smoke which blocked the department's view of the upper portion of the garage. "The fire started because lightning struck an oak tree on the side of the house, snaked it's way across the lawn before hitting the irrigation line and heading to the control in the garage," Clark said. The fire resulted in no injuries, although the family was temporarily relocated to a neighbor's house while firefighters cleared the garage of smoke. Firefighters from Ashland assisted the Hopkinton …
