Man Seriously Injured in I-495 Rollover

A 49-year-old man was seriously injured Monday night in a rollover crash on Interstate 495.

A 49-year-old motorist traveling through Hopkinton on Interstate 495 was seriously injured Monday night after his sedan flipped over several times and crashed into the woods. The man, who was not identified Monday, was taken by ambulance to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester for treatment of injuries that State Police Trooper Matthew Conway described as "serious." The crash was reported shortly before 6 p.m., just north of Exit 21. The northbound 2005 Grand Marquis sedan veered off the roadway, Conway said, striking the right guardrail and then jumping it. Rollover on 495 Traps Driver

A Southborough man was treated for serious injuries at UMass.

State Police and fire crews pulled a driver to safety who was trapped under his vehicle when it rolled over on I-495 Friday night.  The 28-year-old Southborough man was treated for injuries at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester after his Ford Focus flipped over around 5:30 p.m., state police said in a release. Police, who did not release the man's name, said no one else was injured in the crash.  He had "serious injuries," according to police. Hopkinton Police and Hopkinton Fire assisted on the scene that shut down highway traffic for 30 minutes.
