5 Things You Need to Know a Bit Early This Week

A listing of events we think are worthy of getting on your calendar a bit early.

Being as it is not a weekday, this is our special weekend edition of 5 Things We Think You Need to Know a Bit Early for the upcoming week or two. Hopefully, it will offer you a head start on your planning and offer you some fodder for water cooler conversation. 1. The 14th annual Michael's 5K Run/Walk will take place on Oct. 22 at the Hopkinton Common, Route 135. Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the race starts at noon. All money raised will benefit the Michael J. Lisnow Respite Center. $20 to enter, $ 5 for the barbeque only and $25 the day of the event. For more information visit their website. 2.
