Two Hopkinton Teens Arrested After Break-In

A caller from Meadowland Drive tipped police off to suspicious individuals in the area.

According to a release from the Hopkinton Police Department, a caller from Meadowland Drive reported two suspicious people just after 12 p.m. today. Upon police arrival, the pair was seen running into a wooded area behind the neighborhood and shortly thereafter police learned that an adjacent house had been broken in to. "The female suspect was quickly apprehended at the scene," the release said. "A State Police K9 was requested and tracked the male suspect through the woods for approximately 35 minutes." Ultimately the male was caught with the assistance of the Westborough, Upton and Massachusetts State Police departments. UPDATE: Holliston Man Charged With Attempted Murder in Strangling Incident

Thomas Vaccaro was arrested Sunday night for allegedly trying to murder his wife.

Update May, 30 9:45 a.m.: The Framingham District Court released Vaccaro under the condition that he stays a safe distance from his wife. His trial is expected to continue on June 11.  --- An argument between an elderly Holliston couple became physical and led to an alleged attempted strangulation on Sunday night, according to Police Chief John Moore.  A 411 operator called Holliston Police when a Gorwin Drive woman mistakenly called the directory service instead of 911 during the dispute, Moore said.  Officers arrested Thomas Vaccaro, an 84 year-old from 353 Gorwin Dr. in Holliston and charged him with attempted murder and assault and battery on a person older than 60.  "The evidence and the statements led us to believe a strangulation …

Wednesday, May 16 10:29 a.m.: Police responded to a motor vehicle crash on Norfolk street.  7:07 p.m.: After receiving a report of a domestic dispute, police arrested two Erin Way residents.  Police arrested Kristen and Richard Cronin, 26 and 22 respectively, of 20 Erin Way in Holliston. Kristen Cronin was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and Richard Cronin was charged with assault and battery.  5:12 p.m.: Police received a complaint of youths skateboarding on a Hollis Street hill. Officers spoke with the children and advised them.

Police Log: Holliston Man Charged With Drug Possession, OUI

Tuesday, May 15 11:32 a.m.: A Travis Road resident reported $100 was stolen from her unlocked vehicle overnight. Her wallet was not taken. 5:36 p.m.: An ambulance transported two injured people to Milford Hospital after a motor vehicle crash on Concord Street.  8:24 p.m.: A caller told police a vehicle was driving erratically down Washington Street. Police received a second call saying the vehicle had crossed into Ashland. After stopping the vehicle, Ashland police arrested John Rizoli, 61, of 23 Copper Lane in Holliston and charged him with operating under the influence of drugs, possession of class A drugs, and operating with a revoked license.

Friday, April 27 2:53 p.m.: Police responded to a call of assault and battery involving a juvenile at the Hollis plaza.  9:24 p.m.: Three children, who were home alone, called police saying there was someone in their home. Police reported it was the caller's older brother.     Saturday, April 28 9:10 a.m.: A Hollis Street resident walked into the station requesting a restraining order. The judge on call denied the request.    Sunday, April 29 6:39 p.m.: After a car crash on Washington Street, police arrested Deldre Aubuchon, 50, from 80 Morgan Way in Holliston and charged the resident with operating under the influence of alcohol.

Thursday, April 26 7:39 a.m.: Police issued a summons to a driver on Washington Street for driving without a license and an inspection violation.  10:19 a.m.: An officer responded to a report of a disabled vehicle on the side of the road. Police arrested the driver, who had an active warrant for his arrest from Westborough District Court. David Laber, 41, from 49 Homer Ave. in Ashland was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended license.  12:48 p.m.: A Marshall Street resident reported a suspicious vehicle in his driveway. MBTA Cops: Holliston Man Arrested for Lewd Behavior Toward Woman

Eric Howes was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly ejaculating on a woman while riding the Red Line train.

A Holliston man ejaculated on a 21-year-old Cambridge woman riding the Red Line into Davis Square, according to a report from MBTA Transit Police. Eric Howes, a Holliston resident according to Metro.us, was a suspect in an earlier lewd and lascivious crime committed on MBTA property, the report says. According to the report, the woman got on the Red Line train at Alewife Station at about 10:45 a.m. Tuesday and began to read the Boston Metro newspaper. As the train pulled into Davis Square Station, "the victim noticed what she described as a disgusting smell and something wet on her jacket, and [she] also noticed a male party next to her with his hands down his pants," the report says. So sorry to read this news item. Awful for the young woman. I just want to say that I believe Eric has had increasingly difficult mental problems in recent years, despite the care and concern of a loving, devoted family.
