In our second region-wide Best of Patch Readers' Choice contest we asked which is the best place for entertainment in MetroWest. While all five venues in the poll are not the same and each has its own unique vibe and offers different entertainment, Amazing Things Arts Center in Framingham came out as the winner. According to local residents, Holliston Grill is the best breakfast spot around.
With 55 percent of the vote, Holliston Grill is this week's winner of our Readers' Choice Poll and is granted the title of "Best Place in Holliston to get Breakfast." Located in downtown Holliston, this popular spot offers all the classics of a greasy spoon diner mixed with the friendly atmosphere of a local meeting ground. "It's really the only place in town where you can get eggs or breakfast sandwiches or an omelette," said Debbie Smith, who has worked at Holliston Grill for 38 years. Coffee Haven came in second place with 20 percent of the vote, with Pejamajo Cafe and Dunkin' Donuts sliding in at third and fourth. Studio D has won this week's Readers' Choice poll.
With 61 percent of the vote, Studio D has won this week's Readers' Choice poll and the title of "Best Salon in Holliston." Located in downtown Holliston, Studio D offers reasonably priced hair styling to satisfy each customer, the business' listing says. Residents have written reviews on the salon's listing page, sharing their opinions on what makes this a great place to get a new hairdo. Casey's Pub has won our readers' choice poll for this week and the title of best place to celebrate St. Patrick's day.
Barely nudging out Cornell's in Hopkinton, Casey's Public House in Holliston finished with the most votes in this week's poll which asked where the best place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day is. Casey's finished just two votes ahead and received a pair of comments in the pub's favor. "Caseys! Great food and Drinks!," Jeanne Farago said. "Casey's for a couple pints of Jack's Abbey," Cortney Black said. With plenty of beers on tap and traditional Irish food on the menu, it's no wonder this is a favorite place among area residents to celebrate St. Patrick's day.
