Veterans to Host Fundraiser for Injured VFW Commander
Funds raised will help Bob Lindsay's family pay for his added healthcare costs.
Holliston's veterans are set to host a fundraiser that will benefit former Veterans of Foreign Wars Commander Bob Lindsey, who has been hospitalized since a car crash in September. Lindsay is a Vietnam veteran and lifelong volunteer in Holliston, serving as the VFW Commander since May, 2011. The event, titled "A Hug for Bob," will raise funds through a $20 enterance fee and raffles on items including Red Sox tickets, a vacation pakage and gift cirtificates to local restaurants.
