Driver Killed After Rollover Crash on Mass Pike

Officers are responding to a fatal crash on the Mass. Pike.

Update: 5:17 p.m.:  Traffic is still largely unaffected on the Mass Pike Westbound, according to traffic.com, though exit 11a is currently closed.  Passage is slow on I-495 south coming into the site of the crash near exit 11a. --- A driver of a tractor-trailer was killed after a rollover crash on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Hopkinton Monday afternoon, according to a scanner report.  State troopers and medical personnel are responding to the crash, which was picked up by scanners around 1:30 p.m. on Monday.  Stay tuned to Holliston-Hopkinton Patch for information as it becomes available.

Overturned Car on Wood Street

Hopkinton firefighters have responded to a report of a single-vehicle on its side on Wood Street.

A vehicle has reportedly crashed on Wood Street, and is on its side, according to initial scanner reports. Hopkinton firefighters are on the scene, and initial responders at 7:50 a.m. Saturday reported an entrapment. Hopkinton Patch will update with more information as it becomes available.

Two Taken to Hospital After Rollover Crash

The cause of the crash, in Holliston near the Hopkinton line, is under investigation.

Two males were taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center after a car traveling southbound on North Mill Street in Holliston rolled over. The crash was reported just after 4 p.m. Monday. Emergency officials from Holliston and Hopkinton responded; the crash was near the town line. Responders initially requested LifeFlight but canceled the request when learning there was a long wait time. According to scanner reports, a man in his 20s was taken by ambulance to UMass in Worcester. Officials at the scene said a female was also transported; Hopkinton EMS took her to Milford Regional Medical Center. The crash is under investigation.

Morning Crash Closes Washington Street

A woman driving a Mazda Protege struck a utility pole on East Main Street before dawn Friday morning, snapping it off. The road was temporarily shut down by Holliston Police.

A woman driving a sedan west on Route 16 in Milford Friday struck a utility pole, snapping it at the base, but was not injured. The crash at 4:30 a.m. temporarily shut down Washington Street in both directions into Milford, until police and utility crews could clear the street of power lines. Holliston Police redirected traffic to Route 109. Before the shut-down, a box truck became entangled in the wires, according to a Milford Police log narrative. A police detail remained on the scene at 8 a.m. Friday, waiting for a National Grid crew to replace the pole, which is leaning over the westbound lane. The Milford woman driving the Mazda Protege told responding officers she was not injured. She was taken home by an officer. The car was towed.

Fire Personnel Use Jaws of Life to Rescue Injured Driver

Ambulances transported two injured patients after a crash Thursday night.

Fire personnel used "jaws of life" to cut open a crumpled car and rescue an injured driver after a two-vehicle crash on the corner of Washington Street and Prospect Street around 10 p.m. Thursday night, according to initial scanner reports.  Two patients in stable condition were transported to Milford Hospital after the crash, Holliston's Fire Chief, Michael Cassidy, said.  The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Holliston Police Department. Police Log: Young Driver Crashes, Puppy Follows Pedestrian

10:30 a.m.: A Washington Street resident reported two artificial plants were taken from the front porch of the caller's home on Feb. 7 or 8, each worth $25.  10:51 a.m.: Police received a call from a pedestrian on Fiske Street saying a Doberman puppy was following him. Police alerted Animal Control.   9:32 p.m.: Police issued a citation to a driver with a Junior Operator License for failure to stop at a stop sign after a crash on Washington Street. The driver's parents were notified, and picked up the child.

Police Log: School Bus Crash, Unlicensed Driving Arrest

Friday, Feb. 17 2:45 p.m.: Police responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a school bus and observed no damage to either vehicle.  5:12 p.m.: A Westfield Drive resident called police, reporting a small gray car repeatedly driving past her house while several small girls were playing outside.    Saturday, Feb. 18 1:42 a.m.: Police stopped a driver with a suspended license. The driver was escorted by police to the Milford town line.  7:41 a.m.: Police arrested Louis Pablo Quiridunvay, 34, from 23 Knox Ave. in Framingham for driving with a suspended license after a crash on Highland Street.

Crash on Route 495

Traffic is currently restricted to one lane after a three-car crash.

Traffic is restricted to one lane on Route 495 in Hopkinton after a three-car crash around 9:15 p.m. Friday, according to reports.  Ashland and Westborough fire departments sent ambulances to the scene to treat at least four people with injuries. Updates to follow on Hopkinton Patch.

Crash Knocks Out Pole, Utility Wires

Police responded to a one-car crash Saturday evening on the Ashland line.

One person was taken to a local hospital this afternoon after crashing into a pole on Highland Street, police said. The crash, reported at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday, forced the closure of a two-mile section of Highland Street, starting at the Hollis Street intersection and ending near the Ashland town line. The crash was near 34 Highland St. By 6:15 p.m., the car had been removed from the scene and police were awaiting the arrival of utility companies. They were not allowing traffic on the road because of dangerously low hanging wires. Information on the driver's identity or condition was not immediately available.

Tuesday, June 21 12:37 a.m. Officer Higgins checked a vehicle parked at Sandy Beach. 3:12 a.m. - Southboro PD requested help with an arrest but called back shortly afterward to cancel. 5:45 - Officer Proctor removed a dead deer from the median on West Main Street. 9:32 - Dispatch received multiple calls regarding a two-car accident on Ash Street with no personal injuries. Callers said the drivers were arguing in the street. Officer O'Neil responded and helped the drivers exchange papers. 9:40 - A Main Street caller said his mail box was vandalized. 1:53 p.m. - A Main Street address reported a theft.
