This afternoon a man was injured after falling off a house on Clinton Street.
For those of you that heard the helicopter around 1 p.m. today and didn't know what it was about, it was a med flight taking an injured man to UMass Medical Center in Worcester. The man was injured shortly after noon when he fell off the building at 135 Clinton St. According to Fire Lieutenant Carl Harris the man was working on the new construction when he fell. Harris said the man had no apparent injuries, other than the trauma related with a fall. The man fell approximately 20 feet. It is unclear at this time whether the man was from Hopkinton, but Harris said it was unlikely.

Can anyone recommend a halloween "haunted" house appropriate for a 5 year old? my daughter just informed me she loves "spooky stuff" and halloween has beat out christmas as her favorite holiday. I just don't want her to have nightmares from something that is TOO spooky. Suggestions?   more ›
