Nature's Classroom, They're Coming Home!
With buses arriving at 2:30 pm this afternoon the anticipation of their return is mounting. Did they have fun? Did they learn anything important? Will they remember anything from this weeklong experience? These are all questions you may be asking.
Editor's Note: Vicki Francis, the Hopkinton Patch photographer, gathered these photos and videos from her husband John who attended Nature's Classroom for the first few days and returned home early. Even with some rain, it appears to have been a rewarding and fun experience. One of the first lessons learned took place after breakfast on Tuesday morning. My son had two comments about his week: 1) "I wish I could go back again with my whole 6th grade" (I guess as opposed to just going back again on his own) 2) "Dad, did you know some kids transfer schools so they can go back to Nature's Classroom" (not sure where he heard this!) I guess he had a good time... as for me.. here's wishing i were 11 again! more ›
