Dog Park, Pool Among Sought-After Items
The Parks and Recreation Department recently asked community members to fill out a survey about the town's facilities. Here are the results.
561: Total number of respondents. Of them, 325 responded by e-mail and 236 responded in other manners. 94: Percentage of respondents that believe the Parks and Recreation Department is a valuable resource in town. 51: Percentage of respondents who would like to see a public pool in town. Other popular answers included: a hockey rink, a community center, bike/walking trails, and a dog park. Respondents were allowed to select more than one response. 57: Percentage of respondents that have never been to the Emerald Hills Fields. 68: Percentage of respondents that have a positive level of satisfaction with the staff's willingness to help.
