President Barack Obama: The president’s national campaign may not be too prominent in a state that tends to lean toward the left side of the aisle. GOP Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney: The former governor is well known throughout the state he used to lead and was even reportedly in Boston yesterday. Carolyn Dykema: The current 8th Middlesex District representative had a strong showing during the town elections in May. Marty Lamb: Challenging Dykema is something that Lamb is ready for.
