On the eve of the start of their 2011 season, the annual fundraising tournament was held on the brightest of days. The weather was perfect for the Florida style scramble, and the setting at Shining Rock Country Club under the direction of Lou Papadellis, was impeccable. Golf Coach, Dick Bliss commenced the event which was attended by 124 golfers. In its second year, the tournament is the only fundraising event that is held for the Hopkinton Golf Team. With the emphasis on fun, fundraising was the goal to help support many programs and activities that the team participates in throughout the season.
