The Book Fair at the Adams Middle School continues today starting at 8 a.m. where kids will be able to stock up on their favorites titles for summer reading. 4. Take the kids (or the adults) to the annual train show at Town Hall this weekend.
Our daily column, 5 Things You Need to Know Today, will help you to get your day started and offer you some fodder for water cooler conversation. 1. Holliston Historical Society hosts its annual Train Show at the Town Hall, starting at 10 a.m on Saturday and Sunday. The event features a scale version of a New England railway that was active during the '50s and a Thomas the Tank Engine display for youngsters. 2. Live music at Pejamajo and a charity crafts fair in today's five things.
1. Pejamajo is hosting live music. Bill McGoldrick and Pamela Stiebler will be covering rock classics starting at 8 p.m. 2. Today is the second day of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. You can buy tickets at Fiske's General Store or Coffee Haven. 3. A charity craft fair on Sunday will bring in artists from around New England. If you are looking for a truly unique Holliday gift, the fair starts at 9 a.m. 4. The High School cheerleaders are headed to the state finals for the first time in 13 years. They compete at Shrewsbury High Sunday at 4 p.m. 5. The forecast for this weekend looks sunny but windy. With temperatures near freezing at times, be sure to bundle up.
