Two Taken to Hospital After Rollover Crash

The cause of the crash, in Holliston near the Hopkinton line, is under investigation.

Two males were taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center after a car traveling southbound on North Mill Street in Holliston rolled over. The crash was reported just after 4 p.m. Monday. Emergency officials from Holliston and Hopkinton responded; the crash was near the town line. Responders initially requested LifeFlight but canceled the request when learning there was a long wait time. According to scanner reports, a man in his 20s was taken by ambulance to UMass in Worcester. Officials at the scene said a female was also transported; Hopkinton EMS took her to Milford Regional Medical Center. The crash is under investigation.

Police Log: 495 Rollover, Tree in the Road

The following information was supplied by the Hopkinton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Dec. 26 11:07 a.m.: The Hopkinton Fire Department reported that they were on the scene of a car crash on Main Street. One officer responded. Once getting to the scene he realized he would need a second patrol unit to help with traffic. No injuries were reported. 6:10 p.m.: The state police reported a possible rollover on route 495. Officers responded and found the rollover with the driver still trapped inside the vehicle. After getting him free, the driver was transported to the hospital in Worcester. 6:39 p.m.: A caller reported seeing flashing lights in their neighbor’s house on Jamie Lane. Man Seriously Injured in I-495 Rollover

A 49-year-old man was seriously injured Monday night in a rollover crash on Interstate 495.

A 49-year-old motorist traveling through Hopkinton on Interstate 495 was seriously injured Monday night after his sedan flipped over several times and crashed into the woods. The man, who was not identified Monday, was taken by ambulance to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester for treatment of injuries that State Police Trooper Matthew Conway described as "serious." The crash was reported shortly before 6 p.m., just north of Exit 21. The northbound 2005 Grand Marquis sedan veered off the roadway, Conway said, striking the right guardrail and then jumping it. Police Log: Drunken-Driving Arrest, Loose Pitbull

Friday, Oct. 28  5:19 a.m.: A caller reported a tree down on Daniel Road. After an officer confirmed and requested DPW assistance, a neighbor cut up the tree. 6:45 a.m.: A male driver hit a telephone pole on Hayden Rowe Street. There was no damage to the pole, and an ambulance worker evaluated the driver. 10:38 a.m.: There were reports of a white and light brown pitbull running loose on Wood Street.  4:08 p.m.: Police received several calls about a motor vehicle accident on West Main Street. There were no personal injuries and one vehicle was towed. 4:38 p.m.: Police arrested a driver for driving under the influence on East Main Street. Kathleen A. Auto Overturns on 495 in Hopkinton

Fire and Police are on scene evaluating vehicle's occupants.

A single vehicle has gone off the road and overturned on Interstate 495 northbound NB before before Exit 22, the entrance off 495 to the Mass. Turnpike. Reports have the vehicle leaving the road to the right side of the highway. Firefighters and Emergency Medical Services are evaluating the injuries of the vehicle's occupants. No further information is available at 9 a.m.
