Police: Car Stolen From High School Parking Lot

The Holliston Police Department is investigating a car theft that occurred Sunday evening.

Sunday evening as the snow was falling across Holliston, a caller reported that their car had been stolen from the Holliston High School Parking lot. According to police reports the car, registered to a New Hampshire resident, was missing for several hours before it was recovered. Initial reports indicate that the thief stole the car from the lot and headed down Hollis Street where debris from the car was found littering the road. Officers from the Holliston Police Department informed neighboring communities to be on the lookout for the car. They also contacted the New Hampshire State Police to report the car missing. Police Log: Stolen Car, Man in Wandering Woods With 'Psychological Issues'

The following information was supplied by the Holliston police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

12:50 a.m.: A resident walked into the station to report a friend who was waking in the woods "experiencing psychological issues." The missing party came to the police station at 9:30 a.m. and was transported to Milford Hospital by an ambulance. 9:20 a.m.: A Bullard Street caller reported seeing a car run over a group of ducks. Police located the driver, who said he was unaware he had done so.  4:22 p.m.: A resident called police reporting his vehicle had been stolen and put on a tow truck. The stolen vehicle bulletin was later canceled after the incident was discovered to be a civil matter. 10:13 p.m.: Police responded to a single car crash and transported the driver to Milford Hospital.
