Hopkinton Police Log: Skating on Thin Ice, Three Arrests
The following information was provided by the Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.
Thursday, Jan. 3 8:48 a.m.: An officer assisted the Hopkinton Fire Department with a medical call on Granite Street. 10:08 a.m.: A resident went in to the Hopkinton Police Department to speak with an officer regarding possible identity theft. 4:18 p.m.: A resident reported several children on the ice at Hopkinton State Park. The person said the kids were near open water. An officer responded and saw people ice fishing. The officer also did not observe any open water. The officer said at the time that the ice was safe. 6:08 p.m.: A caller reported that she was sideswiped by a tractor-trailer on West Main Street near Price Chopper.
