Hopkinton's Timlin Race Needs Volunteers & YOU for Fun

Months of preparation so racers to fight ALS and spectators have a great time steps off Saturday.

The 8th Annual Sharon Timlin Memorial 5K Race to Cure ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) is sold out and has so far raised more than $42,000 to be used in the fight against ALS. But don’t let that stop you from attending this great event at Hopkinton High School, Saturday, June 18 (tomorrow). There are all sorts of family activities, food, a live band, raffles and silent-auction items.  Children’s races are open for registration until race time. Because of the large number of people expected to attend this event and because the Timlin Race is going green, organizers urge racers, spectators and volunteers to avoid traffic hassles and bike. Once you arrive, bike valets will watch your wheels and will remain at the site until noon. If you can …
