Not only is today a holiday, it's the start of February vacation.
Today is Presidents Day. Here's what's open/closed today: Restaurants, bars: Open Convenience stores: Open Supermarkets: Open Retail stores: Are allowed to open if the owners choose (call first to confirm) Liquor stores: Open City, Town, State and Federal offices and facilities are closed: This includes schools, libraries, and the postal service (express mail will be delivered). Only emergency services are available. Financial Services: The stock market is closed, but some international markets are open. Bus/MBTA Services: Check the MBTA schedules for the route you are interested in as they vary. Trash/Recycling Pickup: Holliston Trash and Recycling will be delayed one day this week. Hopkinton pickup will not be delayed.

In honor of Presidents Day, the Hopkinton Public Library and the post office will be closed.
It’s February break, and you know what that means; a week of having the kids at home. In Massachusetts February break always falls in line with Presidents Day, the third Monday of the month. Seeing as that’s today, we have a run down of what you can find open, and what won’t be open. The Post Office and the library will both be closed. Most businesses in the Main Street area will be open, especially restaurants. Banks will be closed, but that doesn’t mean you can’t use the ATMs.
