Mangia Pizza Expanding to Medfield, Adding Frozen Yogurt

Since Mangia Neapolitan Pizzeria opened in Hopkinton last spring, the pizza and sandwich business has continued to expand and try new things.

Their latest venture, a pizza and frozen yogurt shop, could open this summer in Medfield.

"We're introducing a new concept that we're bringing to the chain which is the new yogurt craze that is sweeping across the nation now," Owner Steve Fenerjian said at a meeting in Medfield last week. "This will be the first [Mangia] store to have it and we'll introduce it to the other stores over the next 12 months."

While Holliston already has frozen yogurt competition right across the street at Berry Bon Bon, no froyo businesses have opened in Hopkinton yet.
